fun day for mail

finishing my "to do" list has been like holding smoke in my hands. but i'll open this as a treat when i'm done. i have several projects to work on and other dumb things to finish. (also we decided to go with mandate press to have the invitations letterpressed! i'm excited to see the turn out. navy ink on pearl white lettra. i'll post pictures as soon as they arrive)

invitation craze

i get to design a good friend's wedding invitation. it's been neat to gather different ideas and stumble upon different wedding blogs for inspiration. a few fun ideas i've found:

it was fun to see bone's work on the cover of this month's slug magazine.

communication arts

time to renew, my first years' subscription is up. comm arts has been great brain food. i suggest picking up an issue or checking out the fabulous student subscription price. i've also been interested in starting some contest projects to keep me warm.

this guy is neat! slc native who illustrates these awesome screen printed flat goods. prints them by hand and uses fine ink and recycled paper. a few favorites:
